what your to-do list should be in pécs

After the Pécs cathedral, you should head to the Bishop’s castle for a spectacular view of Pécs. You can walk around the grounds, there are tons of gardens and blossoming trees.

Afterwards, you can check out some more Roman ruins, and the catacombs underneath them. Right near there, there is a statue of Liszt Ferenc, a very famous 19th-century Hungarian composer, pianist, and conductor. Continuing the loop around the old section of the city, you can also see the Jakovali Hassan Mosque, an old tram, and a water fountain.
