We stopped at Killary Fjord, the only fjord in Ireland to take pictures, and there was a tree where people left all sorts of gifts for the fairies who lived there.
We had lunch – quiche and soda bread – and set on our way to finish the bus tour. Our last couple of stops on the tour were ruins of a couple old Abbeys. One was located right in a small, very peaceful river.
The other was in the middle of a very large, flat expanse of land. We got there around sunset, and were amazed!
