It was the day before my parents and brother returned to the US and most everyone was feeling a day in… Everyone except for my mom and I! When we were both up and ready we figured we could venture around Frankfurt ourselves; my mom really wanted to see it before she left. We grabbed a couple of coffees in the Wiesbaden train station and hopped on the train into downtown Frankfurt, a forty-five minute ride. We saw a few beautiful churches, walked along the Rhine, crossed a couple of bridges and enjoyed a spectacular lunch. The highlight of our day was definitely the Schirn Museum of Modern art, we spent a good few hours there admiring the different expositions. One was a German artist, Ulay, and the other was a combination of two artists, Giacometti and Nauman.
